WHO AM I?
My name is Maurice Wisdom Bishop I'm an author of Blood on Paper and a spoken word poet. I've performed in many popular Open Mic Night Events and Cafes; such as Nuyorican Poet's Cafe in Manhattan, NY, Dowlings Palace in Philadelphia, PA, Club Reign in Baltimore, Maryland, and The Secret Lounge in Manhattan, NY and many more.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
1.Semi-finalist in the Youth Poety Slam Competition at the Free Library of Philadelphia in Philadelphia,
PA in 2006.
2.Won the 'Off The Chain Award' on Poetic Flows Radio Show.
3.First place in the Madrid Poetry Slam Cafe in Dallas, TX In 2010.
4.Third place at the Austin Poetry Slam Competition in 2010.
5. Perform in over 200 Poetry Events in the tri-state area.
